Our civil designs are created primarily with Civil3d. We are capable of producing basic, intermediate and advanced civil engineering drawings. Future Fox is at the forefront of civil design due to our ability to constantly evolve with industry leading design techniques. We are proficient with employing MMCD standards but can easily adapt to any clients specific standards.

We can assist with the production of new drawings, starting with survey data and implementing all of the necessary design specifications our client requires. This includes surface creation, parcel creation, site grading, road modeling and infrastructure design.

Advantages of Future Fox's civil design include the use of Infraworks. This software program allows for the seamless extraction of surface data from almost any location on the planet. An inexpensive way to produce rough designs as opposed to hiring a surveyor. This method of data extraction is fairly accurate and can assist with any conceptual proposal.

We can also provide a unique 'visual' service. This includes exporting Civil3d models to more advanced modeling and rendering software. Using this method, civil designs can be visualized using advanced settings which can dramatically help any potential bid stand out. There is also the potential bring any civil design to life using animation, such as moving cars and humans.

We establish workflows with clients using Drop Box. This allows for data to be seamlessly shared.

Future Fox can provide basic to advanced structural drawings for any client. We primarily use Revit to produce Building Information Models (BIM). The concept of BIM is rapidly catching fire within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry for various reasons, namely an ability to yield more efficient,  data-centric results

The process for developing our structural models using BIM is more efficient than traditional two-dimensional design. Instead of drafting with thousands of individual 2-D lines, we design using 3-D components. This means that a wall will have X,Y and Z data associated with it. This amounts to the seamless creation of elevation/section views which would otherwise have to be manually drafted. As these models are being developed they allow any client to see their project in 3D, which can be appealing for a variety of reasons.

Our structural BIM design process also involves associating real world material properties with the 3-D components. For example, a wall will consist of studs, insulation, vapor barrier and gypsum wallboard. A foundation will have the strength and geothermal properties of 25MPa concrete. The benefits with this type of 'intelligent' modeling include the seamless extraction of material schedules along with an ability to conduct energy analysis simulations and even structural load analysis.

We can easily provide traditional CAD drawings for any client as well. This is possible by simply exporting Revit models to a DWG, 2-D format. All of our Revit models are produced in wireframe which eliminates line conflicts/overlapping; a common headache for those who receive CAD drawings via Revit.

Our Revit BIM models can also be exported to other advanced modeling and rendering software. The  use of this program allows for any clients structural or civil project to receive a major visual boost and see their project like never before.
